Your hands are in more of your wedding photos than you'd think - they deserve more than one appointment on the Thursday before. A series of consistent Russian manicures lets us gradually refine the nail bed, shape and cuticle, rather than just applying colour at the last minute.

With regular professional maintenance, we can work towards:

Your bridal manicure should feel cohesive with your dress, flowers and skin tone - not just your ring. Bring photos of your gown or a fabric swatch and we'll work out the undertone and finish together, factoring in a planned spray tan if you're having one.

Whether you're picturing a sheer nude, milky finish, soft French or delicate bridal art, we'll have it trialled and settled well before your final appointment, meaning no rushed decisions during wedding week.

Priority access and a beautifully planned experience

Botanika's general diary usually opens three months ahead. The Bridal Nail Journey gives you priority access to lock in your full bridal preparation, including your wedding-week manicure and pedicure, up to 18 months in advance.

Each maintenance appointment is timed to support consistent nail growth
Your manicure is allowed the time it needs to develop
Important bridal events can be considered when arranging your dates

When should I begin my Bridal Nail Journey?

Around 12–16 weeks before your wedding, to allow time for your initial appointment, two maintenance visits and your final bridal manicure and pedicure. You're welcome to secure the package up to 18 months ahead, with appointments personally arranged at the right time.

Why can't I simply book one appointment before my wedding?

One appointment can look beautiful, but it can't give you the progressive improvement of consistent Russian manicures - refining the cuticle, encouraging longer-looking nail beds, and trialling colours without a rushed decision in wedding week.

Is this suitable for bitten, weak or damaged nails - and do I need long nails already?

Yes, it’s suitable - and no, you don’t need long nails already. Your natural nails are assessed at the initial appointment so we can set realistic goals and choose the right gel system - whether you want short and understated or extra length, and whatever your starting point.

Will you use tips or extensions, and can I have French or bridal nail art?

The package is built around your natural nails through Russian manicures and structured gel - no tips or extensions. If a nail breaks at any point during your journey, it can be discreetly repaired and lengthened using the same structured gel, so you're never left worrying between appointments. Your final bridal manicure includes time for a planned French finish or bridal nail art, discussed and agreed on before wedding week.

Can you match the manicure to my dress?

Yes - bring photos of your gown and styling or a fabric swatch, and we'll factor in undertone, jewellery, skin tone and any planned spray tan.

What if I already have nail product on?

Let me know before booking and send a clear photo if you can - I'll need to assess whether it can be safely refined or requires extra removal time.

Does the package include my bridal party?

No - this is a personalised package for the bride only. Bridesmaid appointments remain subject to separate availability.

Where are the appointments held, and how are they arranged?

All appointments are held at Botanika Beauty, a private studio in Rockyview. After booking, I'll contact you personally to confirm your date and arrange each appointment at the right stage, with priority access ahead of the general three-month diary.

What happens if my wedding date changes?

Get in touch as soon as possible and I'll do everything I can to adjust your appointment plan, though alternative dates remain subject to availability.
