Meet The Owner
My name is Michelle and I am the owner of Botanika Beauty. You can be assured that when you receive a treatment here it will be performed by the same person, the same way, every single time .
I relocated to Rockhampton in 2021 to be closer to family. I saw a need to provide organic, natural and vegan beauty treatments to Central Queenslan
My name is Michelle and I am the owner of Botanika Beauty. You can be assured that when you receive a treatment here it will be performed by the same person, the same way, every single time .
I relocated to Rockhampton in 2021 to be closer to family. I saw a need to provide organic, natural and vegan beauty treatments to Central Queensland. Having previously owned 3 busy salons in NSW, I decided to start once again and build a clientele from scratch.
I qualified in the beauty industry back in 1998 and specialise in nail treatments, but also love facials, lash & brow artistry, pedicures, waxing, tinting and lash lifts. At Botanika Beauty we are very proud to use only the absolute best high end products available - always vegan and cruelty free, and natural and organic where possible.
I am also an Industry Educator for the American nail brand @lightelegancehq , and the Australian beauty importer @beautyworldaus. I've taught classes in every Australian city (except Darwin!) and attended annual training at LEHQ in Redmond, Oregon, United States.
I've recently earned my Diploma in Holistic Beauty & Wellness and am very passionate about treating beauty from within and holistically, rather than just 'applying a bandaid'.
I'm now currently studying to become a Master Herbalist and also grow over 50 medicinal herbs at my home studio in Rockyview.
